Jess and Craig:

Hello to family and friends!!

Welcome to our website where we hope to keep you all updated on where we are in the world and what we are doing.

Here is a bit of background on the trip: Up until September of 2008 we had been living in Connecticut, Jessica working in Norwalk as a Nurse-Midwife and Craig working in New Haven with Trailblazer. In September, the lease on our apartment came up and we decided it was time to make a move back out west. It then occurred to us that by quitting our jobs and packing up all our belongings we were in the unique position of being able to go anywhere or do anything. We decided that we would plan a trip around the world (inspired by the Rusin's trip a year ago). So that is how we got on this adventure. The plans for the trip evolved as we discussed all our options and we finally settled for an itinerary that included bike touring, trekking, and visiting good friends who live far far away.

We will miss everyone and will do our very best to keep in touch while we are away.

Also, don't forget to send us lots of emails with news from home!!
